Is this any good?

What do you guys think about this ram? Is this pretty good, worth the money? Good product to upgrade with?

Great, but look at newegg.com for slightly better prices:

I consider Kingston DDR to be good ram, along with the CAS2, makes it a good pick. The only thing is whether you want to do a major upgrade sometime soon, because all the new processors require DDR2 memory.

Kingston gets slaughtered by all the brand names. The recommendation of Corsair was a solid one. I would heed his advice.

That link is for 2 X 512 sticks. My link is for 2 X 1G sticks.

It sounds too cheap for 2G of ram, doesn't it?

Nope, that link you posted is for 2x512. Here's Kingston's part description for that item...

My current upgrade is for a 3 week old computer. Got a great deal on it on Black Friday. It has DDR memory, so I won't use it for anything needing DDR2 in the future. By then there will be something even better and faster.

Sorry, my bad. The ad was a little misleading to me. No wonder I thought the price was so good. Thanks for setting me straight.
