Voltage Info please


whats the difference in how much voltage a memory stick uses? what the best to get? i dont understand anything about memory yet.

It's best to get memory that doesn't require more than 2.0V, but if it is JEDEC compliant, then it will work.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean by the 'difference in how much voltage a memory stick uses.' Any RAM that requires a lot of voltage will be faster and have better timings than a standard voltage stick.



Any RAM in particular you are looking at? The type of RAM you need (DDR or DDR2), how much you would be willing to spend and what you do on your PC will help us decide what would be the best to get.
