Sata 1.5/ 3.0


Real quick is SATA 30 drives back ward compatable with 15. MY mobo only has 1.5 and i wanted to buy a 3.0 drive.

This question is asked almost every week! Please do a search next time. Yes, a 1.5 drive will work on a 3.0 connection and vis-versa

Yes, on some 3.0 drives theres a jumper to set to 1.5

SATA3.0Gb/s drives do work on a SATA150 interface.
