obviously the first test i did to test one of my sticks was to use it using games and with it in it would crash or retsart the system, with the stick out the games played ok, so obviously i have a faulty stick, but is still loads windows etc, is there any programs which can test the memory stick and give me some more detailed information?

I have a program called MemTest, which is very user friendly. All you do is launch the app and his start

I can e-mail it to you if you want.

It will keep going forever, it's good to let it run at least until 300% or so, with no errors. The longer it runs, the more certain you can be it's error-free.

ok i got 2 sticks of 512ddr 400mhz, one stick is faulty and will only work when dualled with the working one but for a short period of time but for that time like DOOM 3 is really smooth and amazing, so obviously i cant take these ccrashes so i remove the faulty stick leaving in just 512 ddr of ram, now Doom 3 plays eally jerky and takes like 2 seconds to load on each door opening i knew th performance would drop but not by that much?? is this right??
