it was in my old amd computer i found so...will that work in my computer ?

It would probably be detected, but don't expect too much from it if anything. I don't see a jumper selection piece, that might be an issue.

I'd imagine it would, you may have to find a jumper cap to get it set to master/slave as needed. It may default to cable select if theres no jumper on

is your computer SATA? IDE? thats a IDE HD..
