what is windows limit on the largest it can make a partition

are you sure cuz i heard somewhere that windows only allows like 120something GBs for one partition

and in another post a guy had a 320GB HDD and only showed up 127GB which im wondering about

That was true in previous version of Windows and/or previous service packs. I had a 320GB SATA hard drive, and i could see 298GB (which is normal).

if somebody's format is FAT32 instead NTFS, then you can only see 200GB...

Pre SP1 or SP2 Windows XP versions only supported about 120Gb.

well i have a Windows XP Home and my unpartitioned space is only 131GB instead of 250GB

Sounds like you have a pre SP/1/2 CD, If you have a burner download SP2 and slipstream it to your windows CD

isnt SP1 the standard

it says version 2002

Dont know I have a Copy of XP Pro 2002 and it doesnt
