hi a mate of mine uses raid 0 to install games and a pata hdd for windows

the other day he used a driver update program and updated the sata drivers now the pc gets bod unless he disables sata in bios he eventially got it to boot to windows with sata enabled ,

in his bios the raid hdd is there but under my computer it isnt he has tried

installing the via program from his mobo cd but it wont because there is no supported hardware please help
