C: is full! Help! What to do?

I have:

Two internal HDD:

C: = 80 GB (85% full!!!!) (Win XP Professional)

F: = 60 GB (old HDD from previous computer) (Windows XP Home)

One external HDD:

H: = 80 GB

My C: drive is almost full and I don't know why! I have all pics and songs on F:

C:\My Documents is about 45 GB.

Spyware is NOT the problem. I use Spyware Doctor, Spybot, Ad-Aware SE, and Norton Antivirus. (At least I'm 95% sure that spyware isn't a problem.)

I "think" the space is taken up by programs.

How can I figure out what is taking up so much space on C:? When I open MY COMPUTER the "size column" doesn't tell me the size.

I do know this: In MY DOCUMENTS the largest app listed is 272,391 KB and is called WindowsXP-KB835935-SP2-ENU. Sounds like it's related to SP2 and or updates.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks.

Go to my computer, right click on c: and go to properties, this will dispaly a dialog with a pie chart effect showing whats free and used. If wanting to see actually size of programs.Go to control panel, add and remove programs. This will dispaly all programs with sizes etc.

You need JDisk Report.
http://www.jgoodies.com/freeware/jdiskreport/
This sucker will show what's being used on your drives and how much space it takes.

open control panel \add or remove programs
see the list of the programs you have and how much space it takes
another thing you should do a defragmentaion and disk cleanup every now and then
go to Start\all programs\accessories\system tools\ disk defragmenter
Start\all programs\accessories\system tools\disk cleanup

That program you recommended is great! Turns out that my Ulead Video Studios app had about 42 GB of videos.

I had deleted the videos off of my F: drive, which is where I thought they were located; but apparently, Ulead Video Studios app still had them in there.

Although I tried to delete them from Ulead, my first attempt was unsuccessful. I'm sure I'll figure it out.

Thank you very much! That app is awesome!

You're quite welcome. I found a lot of crap left behind by other apps, like Nero temp files for DVDs, that once cleared out, left me with tons of space. I'm glad it worked out for you!

85%? You had TONS of room left. My C: has more than 99% used space and my PC works great...ish. I've never used JDisk but Space Monger and Win Dir Stat gives you a visual of your hard drives contents.
