i have this board http://www.gearxs.com/gearxs/product...oducts_id=5039 im trying to find a gig of ram for it i can ind ddr2 and pc4000 tryp stuff im not shur i checked price watch i was wondering if some one can hellp me find cheap ram that will work http://www.pricewatch.com/memory/

Unfortunately no one is going to know what board you are talking about since the first link brings you to a list of different products and not to the page where the board is shown. You'll have to post the make and model for help in choosing memory for it.



Apparently you started two identical threads where the first had the correct link. http://www.gearxs.com/gearxs/product...oducts_id=5039 That model board will run up to 2gb 2 1gb dimms that is of PC2700 DDR333 dimms.

That model board has a 266/333mhz fsb. It may even run off of a backclocked PC3200 dimm.

While you were busy laughing heribe1 was verifying the ECS Elitegroup 741GX-M COMBO w/Athlon XP-M 3000+ / FAN - mATX NEW RETAIL BOX he was asking about. Although some single sided DDR400 dimms will backclock on that older Socket A model the optimum would still be with the PC2700 333mhz dimms.
