I have no idea what that is but i NEED to information off of that hard drive it is CRUTIAL that i get it so if anyone can help me please do..

Well...is the drive you're trying to get stuff from bootable? You'll need a bootable drive in the machine(most machines need it set as the primary master) then the other drive, probably on the same channel as the slave.

if you messed with the boot order make sure you change that back to. it will say like press ESC to enter boot menu, do that then select your sony hard drive. How is your hd plugged in IDE(long gray cable) or SATA(small cable)?

So you put a different hard drive in there, with a different install, correct? That probably will not work because it was installed for a different motherboard. The installed HAL (Hardware Abstraction Layer) is different, and therefore, it won't properly work on different hardware. You'll have to run the recovery console from the Windows Xp Disc.

just put the other HDD in there at the same time, have them both plugged in and you should be able to access it from my computer
