How do you not get it? It's just a new storage technology, that aligns the bits on your harddrive perpendicularly instead of laying flat.

It makes it able to have more room on your harddrive, so they an make smaller HDD's, or just ALOT BIGGER ones.

Not as good as the new light HDD's, but certainly more parctical/cheaper.

Reminds me of School House Rocks.

yeah i got it, but its just strange that it was made into a cartoon. i dont know any five year olds who would know wtf it does to have bits perpendicular instead of lying down flat.

you guys take things too seriously, all hitatchi are doing is trying to make technology fun, most people who dont know much about this sorta stuff are too scared cos people are too serious.
its different i give them that lol
