Comp reboots out of no where

I have the comp in my sig. I just reformated. My comp will reboot from time to time out of nowhere. It reboots during GTA SanAndres alot. It doesn't give a warning message, it just happens. When it loads bak up it says that I encountered a serious error and it can't explain why. Does anyone know whats going on? thanks

Hi, I think the problem you are having is being caused by your system not having all of the windows updates, hav u downloaded and installed them all.

Also have you installed all of the drivers for all of your hardware.

Sounds more like a heat problem. Either your GPU or you CPU temps are getting to high and shutting down your system.

What temps are you running?

I agree with the heat problem. It could be overheating the CPU or GPU, especially if your overclocking. Run memtest86 too.

It seems it does it more now that I reformated my comp. It rarely did it before and now it does it often.

My other PC was doing this as well.. turned out, and this is probably original, that I forgot to plug the PSU back into the GPU, so it was being powered by the mobo and every time I did something graphic intensive, the PC would reboot itself.

Sounds ridiculous, but check your PSU connections

Yeah PSU, this happened on my old PC alot.

I needed a new one with higher wattage, but you may just have faulty connections^^
