well i read the HDD 101 and im still confused. which is better? sata II or sata 150? and what is the difference?

the transfer rate is the difference, sataII is also called sata300 the 300 is the max transfer rate in MB/s.

one question, any mobo that has sata slots can take sata 2 hdds right? thinking of getting of these if they're compatible.

ONE guy said on one of the newegg reviews said you can download the drivers at hitachi's site for the sata2 drivers, but i went there and is not even in the download section.

sata2 still uses the sata150 cables correct? since newegg's drives are OEM.
