what do you think?

I've just recently purchase some high end computer parts and built myself a new system but i'm still using my old IDE drive and i'm currently looking to replace it with SATA as my motherboard supports up to six. I'd like to purchase 2 80gb SATA HD's but dont plan on running a raid 0 config even though my mobo supports it so here is my question. Do you think I'll get the best performance using two smaller HD's or one large one?, remember i'm not planning on running raid.

Two smaller drives

Of course its not without its caveats .... having two drives means twice the potential heat, twice the space requirements, twice the power connections required etc
