problem

ok i have an asus dual layer lightscribe drive.

Everytime i burn a movie, the movie plays then starts skipping and freezing near the end. and its not the dvd player, cuz i thought it was an old dvd player, but i bought a brand new one supporting divx and all that and still freezes. I use Nero 7. I use memorex and sony dvd-r and dvd+r. I tried them both and same issue happends. is it nero>? if so is there a btter program, where i can make title screens and all that and burn>?

Try changing the burning speeds to something a bit slow if you can.

When you burn at the max speed it can cause problems. When you slow down the speed it focuses more on quality. I use convertxtodvd to burn DVD's and have never had a problem.

I generally stick with 1/2 the max and it wirks good for me. My drive is 16X I usually burn at 8x

First have you updated your firmware?
Is a must with ASUS burners. Your not using quality disk so stick with slower speeds like 6x. Also update nero.
For firmware.

If all fails is cause you bad burner our your PSU does not have enough juice for the drive.
