My Samsung CDRW/DVD SM-352B is being recognized by my computer, but I just installed Roxio and it doesnt recognize it. Also, before I installed Roxio I installed CDRWIN and it asked me if I wanted to turn off the feature that asks me what I want to do when I first insert a disc. It was recommended I did so I did. Could this be why? How do I turn that feature back on?
Oh yeah. Like I said my computer shows the drive in the device manager and shows it when I open my computer, but when I put a disc in it doesnt read it.
why not just uninstalled cdrwin ?

I did. I also re installed it thinking it might ask the question again and I could reverse it, but it did not ask me what I wanted to do.

Go to My Computer- right click on the drive- click properties-click Auto play tap-at the bottom check, Promp me each time to choose a action.

Go into the registry and delete the upper and lower filters for the drive. Reboot. Also, go in and change the value for drive type from a 3 to a 1 if it's an -R, 2 if it's an -RW.
