Fast dvd burning software asap.

Well I got a bunch of .avi movies on my pc and I use nero but it takes forever to transcode and burn and all like 2 hours or a bit less.

Is there any other program I can just drag the .avi file into and it does it faster then that?

Edit: I don't think it's Nero though It's the transcoding process that takes a while to burn the actual dvd it doesn't take long at all. Is there anay faster way to transcode?

Well I know there are a few programs that do it, but check out "dvd to avi" on Google, that will give you quite a few.



But more than likely the only way to speed up the process is to upgrade your hardware.

ConvertX2DVD is a nice program.just drag the avi file then convert then burn.never burn at x16 always use x4 x6 because the quality sucks at high burning speeds. same with converting

Back when I was doing avi. I was using DivX to convert and burn, and it never took 2 hours.....

Nothing's really going to speed up the process besides a new CPU as you're still having to do the same conversions. Some encoders may be slightly faster than others, or may offer more options, just as faster encoder times but more artifacts and such.

Multiple copys needed. I would save one time as iso then burn the image as many times as needed then delete when finished. Iso or image always did do a

quick burn fast.
