When I wasnt careful with cds and they became scratched bad enough to cause skips I used Armor All on them. Apply it then buff it off. It might take a few applications but it usually works. I stumbled upon this by wiping off a cd with a cloth that was saturated in armor all shortly after washing my car, then noticed the absense of skippage
