dual layer dvd..does it need a special burner?


Title kinda explains it....do i need a special kind of burner to burn a dual layer dvd (8.5 GB's)???



I have a asus quitrack dvd bruner (stat 2 con)??

I'm pretty sure you do need a "special" drive....I think its called dvd ram drive or something like that, HOWEVER I'm not positive, so wait until someone can verify.

You just need a DVD Burner with dual layer RW capabilities.

DVD-RAM and DVD DL are different. You need a DVD burner which says it supports DL (dual layer).
