Hey i have a latitude d600 dell laptop will a teac cd-rom drive, I wanna put a dvd drive so i can burn/watch dvds. Im noob is dis posible and doable by me?

How about a usb external drive. It will be cheaper i think. Besides being portable and you can take it with you. get a duel layer burner.

Yeah it'd be very difficult for you to open up the laptop and replace the optical drive. Get an external drive like this. They are more expensive though.

I dont wanna carry i big box with a wire connecting 2 my usb, Cant i just disconect the Teac Cd drive and stick somthing else in!!!

This DVD+/-RW Drive is an all-in-one drive, burn DVD+/-RW or DVD+/-R, and CDs.

If you do not want to use an external drive, then this is about your only option. But you might be able to find it somewhere else cheaper. Just do some searching on Google, that's how I found that one. You might be able to find one on Ebay.

There's actually a ton of them for sale on ebay, this one even has lightscribe. Shop around on ebay, you might get one for next to nothing for a used one. Just type in on ebay search "dell d600 dvd burner".
