Philips SPD6002BM

I'm looking for a cheap but decent dvd burner for my gf with lightscribe, and I've found the Philips SPD6002BM as the cheapest option.

In fact, it's almost too cheap, cheaper than other brands without lightscribe, like LG, Samsung, Asus, etc, so that made me a bit suspicious about it's quality.

So, any of you know how good/bad/decent it actually is?

We dont need it for anything major, just to burn a few dvds once in a while, I'd be surprised if it burned 50 dvds a year.

Thanks

I prefer Lite-on drives and they range from $31 to $36 USD with Lightscribe.

I like those as well, but right now one of the best rated burners is the Samsung SH-S203B.

At least that's what a couple of magazines rate as the best one out right now.

I would too, problem is this is the cheapest one I could find here (I'm not in the US).
