CD-ROM Burner In Device Manager, Not In My Computer

I have a Lite On Cd-Rom Burner on a user machine that doesn't seem to be working. In the Administrator account the burner shows up in My Computer and in Device Manager but in the user account it shows up in Device Manager but not in My Computer. I tried uninstalling it from Device Manager and re-installing it to no avail, I updated the firmware driver for it and now it isn't showing up at all in either account in My Computer or Device Manager. Any suggestions?

Try another optical, or try messing with the jumpers...

Try using a different sata or ide port for it. Check the cable.
