What DVD media to buy???

I made a big mistake in buying Memorex discs. I don't understand what media I need to buy to copy my DVD backups. Could someone please point me in the right direction. I have read alot, but, I don't understand the codes etc on blanks. I need to buy some over-the-counter (not ordering). We have some of the usual places here. Walmart, Kmart, Circuit City, Staples, Office Depot. My DVD's are burning but when they are almost complete there is skipping and freezing ETC. Thanks for any help.

If you want your disks to last you have to buy quality media.

Verbatim is the only media I use for both DVD-R, Dual layer DVD and CD's

It is very reliable and fairly cheap.

I have never had a burn failure because of the media. If I have had a failure it was always because of the software I was using.

I like the Memorex too, except that my CD markers suck on the surface...

How many times have you watched/used your Mems? They won't last. If you want your disks to last, go Verbs or TY.
