Problems with burning cds!

Hi! I just bought a new Dell Inspiron 1521. After buying songs on iTunes I wanted to burn a cd. The computer says that it's initializing but then it spits out the disk and says that it failed to burn the cd and that an uknown error occured (2131). Roxio came with the computer and if I try to burn a cd in Roxio it works.



Does anybody have any idea what might be wrong?

Doesn't ITunes music have drm (copyright protection) I don't think you can burn i-tunes music to a cd, unless they are i-tunes plus songs.

you can try cdburnerxp it's free and works really well.

Try using either nero or WMP to burn songs. i've heard issues with Dell burners and Itunes.



What brand of burner do you have?
