.cue&.bin

i have files i received from a friend that are in .cue and .bin format, i used alcohol 120 to write them on to a cd. it seems that all the cd's were named disk1 so when it asks for the second disk it will not continue. i tried loading a different cd, it takes but it still asks for cd2 and one disk is as far as i can get. is there a way of opening up .cue's and .bin's and changing the names as there are seven disks. 1 - 7.

thanks

I think with the iso you can manually change the name form disk1.iso to whatever.. and it changes the disc name also.

I think with iso's they will burn the name of the disk they were ripped off, regarless of the file name. You could always extract the data from the disks and make your own.

are they videos? if so, get vcdgear

I had a .cue/.bin video that I wanted to convert, but nothing would do it..I used vcdgear [free] and its great...really simple, easy to use..and extremely fast.

It'll convert the vid into a .mpg (assuming you're files are videos)
