I am having problems backing up my files (just music,small sized vids,jpeg pics etc)
LG dvd burner and Nero burning rom 6.6.0.19. Windows XP sp2.
I have tried both dvd-r and dvd-rw.
I tried burning about 4GB of folders/files as a data dvd and half way through it failed.
So I tried burning smaller folders, a few at a time. Sometimes success, sometimes not.
One of the errors I got was:-
"This compilation contains too much data to fit on the disc with respect to the normal disc capacity.
Required capacity: 523:29:46 4601MB
Total capacity on disc: 510:38:38 4488MB "
( I was trying to burn a 71MB file ) and i had only already burned 1GB. So there was plenty of room left on the dvd. I checked the device manager and IDE's are running with DMA's. Can anyone shed some light ? (thanks for any help )
