I don抰 know much about computers, so bear with me. Do you need special software to burn a dvd movie to a blank dvd? Because I have had several of my dvd movies break on me, so I would like to burn all my movies to a backup dvd. Also, how do I know if my computer can burn dvds? And what is the best software to get? Thanks in advance.

Yes you need specific software. You need a DVD-rom burner to burn DVD movies. Nero is a good piece of software to do that.
