Any good?

I just was wondering if this dvd-R drive is any good:dvd drive
and then I was going to get this aswell:
ata 133

NEC is a good brand, on newegg is has lots of positive reviews. Those cables also look good, but a bit on the pricey side.

i don't think you can go above ATA-33 with the writer anyway
so there is no use for this cable
am i right ?

It wouldnt effect speed, but it is a round cable. So it takes up less space, better for airflow, and looks better.

I can vouch for that DVD Burner. I bought it off newegg about 4 months ago and I can notice a huge improvement in burn times over my previous 8X burner. Some people suggested it was a bit on the noisy side, but it's isn't any louder than any previous DVD/CD-rom drives I've had. Definitely a good buy!
