how do i get firmware updates?

I have a lite on ltr-52327s 52x32x52 cd burner. I had kinda asked about it in an earlier post. could it be that i need to upgrade my firmware? If so how do i do that?

Go to the Lite-On website and see if they have any updates. If they dont, then no worries.

Ok I checked out lite on's site it doesn't seem like they have updates for anything.

i had that same problem with my old memorex (dont laugh) dvd burner, it was not even listed on the memorex website.

i searched google and found another place that had the firmware updates, i tried it and it worked.

of course, you do this at your own discretion.
