Diablo 2 wont reconize its CD


Hi i have got diablo 2 game recently and installed it.. everything went well in the instal and when the instalation finished it asked if i waned to play, when i click to play the game it gives me this error even though my cd is still in my DVD-ROM(which runs CDS as well)









now i have 3 CDs for diablo and i tryed them all but it gives the same CD-rom error, anyone know what might be the problem? its real frustrating

Try going onto http://www.gamecopyworld.com/ and download a no disk crack. See if it works with that.

EDIT: Also, try reinstalling the game.

You can D/L diablo 2? I thought it was only newer games that were avalible for download?

did you download it form something like bittorrent? As i have got those errors before when i have tried to try out a game that i downloaded

nop dosnt work

i think there is a problem reading the disk by the CD ROM

i heard it has something to do with CR ROM catch being set to 32 bits.. how u do that?

try opening up the drive and remove the CD. Take a Q-Tip and clean off the lense. It won't hurt it. When I was working in the tech dept of my company, that was standard to do before shipping any box out. And I got messages saying no disk was found. Once I cleaned it, it worked 99% of the time.

Couldn't hurt to dust out the PC as well
