srt files to play in WMP, writting VTS files to DVD

HEllO!

I have downladed a zip file from emule. The contents a supposed to be a episode of a tv show however when i unzziped the file i found myself with *.Srt files and i was wondering how i could get them to play.

On the otherhand i have made some copies of some rubbishy films onto my pc using intervideo disc master 2, the format it left on my pc where Video TS files. when i open one of these i find myself with small video TS files as well as VTS.Bup or VTS.VOB. If i open one of the small Video Ts files i can whatch the movie. But what id like to know is if i write one of these files to a dvd will it just play the movie or do i have to convert them to another format before i can do this.

I would much appreciate all the help i can get as well as thank everyone right from the start.

you need to burn the .vob's, the .bup's and the .ifo's when you burn a dvd, that's what gives you all the menus and everything, so assumng the files are small enough (under 4.whatever gigs) you should be able to burn those files straight to disk
