ok this is really annoying me, i've intalled all the drivers and the nessary Firmware but the ******* thing is'nt ******* working the msg comes up in the device maneger when i clikc on the DVD/cd device it says - Windows did not start a related device driver. To learn more, click the Driver tab and then click Driver Details.
and that wrong coz when i go to driver details i see that there's a trick next to all of the drivers
SOMEONE HELP ME
btw i have two Dvd-rw's both with there own ide slot both masters
motherboard - Asus A8N-SLI Premuim

I just installed mine and had the same problem, so I switched it to slave and it fixed the issue!

ok i'v fixed the related drives and that now the only problem i'm having is the 2 dvd's arn't talking to the motherborad i got the two hard drives connected as sata and the 2 dvd-rw 2 the 2 seprate ide slots

What drive do you have and did you set the pins on the back of your drives to master and slave?

i have the following drives for the 2-
Cdrom.sys
imapi.sys
redbook.sys
storporp.dll
and there both set to master coz there both on different IDE slots 1 on the primary and the other on the secondary there both PIONEER DVD-RW DVR-110D
