When I try to make a backup disk for a disk that I own it read I/O error on
DVD Decrypter, and DVD Shrink won't back it up either.
Any suggestion anybody!

if you do not mind.. what disk are u trying to back up?
most disk's implement a ton of bad sectors into the disk as a form of protection for copying issues.
but if not, try this if u dont have this set up..
In DVD Decrypter to into Options and on the I/O tab make sure you checkmark the box "Ignore Read Errors" and set "Software Read Error Retries" to something low..like 2 or 3.
if it doesn't work, try this also, but dont change the settings u just did.
go to device manger and IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers Secondary IDE Channel
go to advance settings for your Dvd Burner
it Should Be Device 0
Change the trasnfer mode to PIO mode... see if that helps.
oh, and make sure u have the latest firmware if possible.
