LOL, no need for that. I assume by wavs you mean a standard AudioCD, the type that can be played on a home stereo, etc... Theoretically, it's possible, but in reality an audio CD player can only play tracks in the first session. Of course, you can leave the session open, but this means you won't be able to play it on a hi-fi system or normal CD-ROM drive until you close the session.

damn that’s what I wanted to do is burn audio to disc and play it on a hi-fi system and some time later burn another couple of tracks to it.

can you close the disc then open it again?

I'm afraid not, the closest you could come would be to get a CD-RW, and just wipe it and add new tracks when you're ready, but they're notoriously incompatible with a lot of hi-fi systems. It might be worth a try, though, given how cheap CD-RWs are now.

ok I'll try that

But I still don’t understand why you can multisession other audio files except for .wav

How would you go about multisessioning other audio files? Multisessioning is something that works with the CD, not the actual files. If you attempt to burn an audio CD with Nero, for example, all the audio files will be converted to a common that meets the Audio CD specifications, and then burnt onto the CD.

If you're trying to make a Data CD with audio files, it's an entirely different matter. Many hi-fi systems won't play these, although most DVD players, MP3 players and, of course, computers will.

If your devices will play multisessioned data CDs with MP3 files, for example, then why not convert the wav files to mp3 and burn them as normal?
