copy photos to CD or DVD

How can I copy photos from my SD card to a DVD or a CD ? and about how much can be stored on a CD or a DVD, I have a 512mb SD card and I was wondering how many pics would fit on a CD or DVD.

Do you have a CD or DVD burner? You need one of those first

Also your question about how many can't exactly be anwsered because not all pictures take up the same about of space. But everything on your SD card should be able to fit onto one CD because its 512MB and most CD's can hold at elast that much

to copy it. you will need an SD card reader, or one of them multi card reader you can find at bestbuy or electronic store you choose. have it set up and reading the SD card. then have a program like nero to burn it onto cd/dvd.

you can probably fit the whole SD disk and a little less than half of what you originally have.

couldn't use just put them onto the computer as normal (using the cord that should've came with the camera) then burn them onto disc?

Seems logical to me too. So just hook it up to the computer and burn it with some sort of burning program onto a disk. And as for space issues, CD's hold about 650-750 MB and DVD's are 4.7 GB. So it just depends on if you have more already on the computer that you want on the disk or not.
