My CD/DVD ROM is going to fly away

Hi, guys. I recently begang having a problems with my 3 years old CD/DVD rom. When I insert the cd, it begins spinning it for about a minute; after about a minute or two the CD ROM makes noise similar to the braking noise of the mountain bike. When I press Eject, it usually getting stuck and I have to insert it back and then I have to try to Eject it again(it takes me about 3-4 tries). Although, I notice the the center piece of the CDROM (circular piece that holds and rotates the CD) easily slides off. Should I glue it?

cdrom drives are like $12, invest in your sanity.

I agree! Even CD-RW's and DVD drives are cheap these days! Just replace it!

You said its about 3 years old, It's time to get a new one, sorry.

Thank you, guys. Where should I look for the CD/DVD ROM Drives? Ebay seems as the good solution. Any other ideas?
