new dvd burner wont work

Hi, my cd burner crashed so I bought a "lite on"dvd/cd burner, installed it but when I try to burn a cd with nero it says drive is in use by another application.

You try re-installing Nero?



Uninstall Nero using Nero Clean Tools, then reinstall it.

Or you could give deepburner a shot. It's a small download and quite nice... There's a free version too.
