my friend has a dvd and a cd drive linked to his pc, the computer picks up the dvd drive but not the cd drive, i dont know whether he set it up as a slave etc.
also the dvd drive will not read all of his cds, only some of them work
can anyone help?
It sounds like both of the drives could be on the same setting or something. Check that first.
As for not reading some of the disks...what kind? Burnt?

he got some new feeder cds (not burnt) and htey dont seem to work

as in they are both set as masters with the jumpers. set the dvd as master and the burner as slave. or you can just set automatic select.
