recording audio to CDR

Hello,

this might be a basic question to computer spurts, but how do i record from my amp output(a cassette or vinyl playing) and burn a CDR. i have Nero OEM suite installed(express 6). it might be under my nose but i can't see how to capture audio.

many thanks, Andrew

You can get a program to capture audio from your sound card input. Connect your amp to your card's input, then use a program such as Musicmatch to capture it. This will put it on your hard drive as an MP3 (usually, depends on what settings you have configured), and then you can just use Nero to burn the MP3 to a CD.
