IDE to Sata Converter


I was looking for SATA drives and noticed there are none...so i found this:

What do you guys think? Think this coulddo a good job in getting a good connection via SATA??

Yeah i know, there are maybe 1-2 more, but thats no selection. I need some more....

If you consider the fact that i want to equip 4 more PC's with SATA drives, i dont feel like spending 600 bucks on combo drives....

Can anybody maybe tell me what they think about the convertor i posted up there?

I apriciate your input and mentioning the Plextor drive...but my original question in this thread was what people here think about the Converter and not wich SATA drives there are..eventho i did say that there are none (for me 1-3 are none)..thanks again

Generally those converters don't work very well. I'd say you would be better off buying a SATA drive
