how can i break apart a 3,5 GB CD image??


so... how can i do it ... the image is .mdf and .mds (Alchool clone).

but the size is... uhhh.... 3.5 GB and i need to break apart in pieces of 700 MB to fit in a CD.

i was thinking archiving with winrar and split to volumes but i'm talking about 3.5 GB of data --> archiving this should take hours to complete. So i need another sollution if there is one... pls

Sounds kind of a silly question but have you thought about using a DVD or do you not have the facilities to do that?

no i do not have a DVD-writter ...

That 3.5GB file is not a CD image but in fact, a DVD image.

u can split it with hjsplit it wont take too long.

I said i don't have a DVD-writter...don't you think I know that is a DVD image ... but I want to burn it on CDs.... and this in what I don't know....
