dma mode

Hi there i was just wondering if anyone could help me. Ive just upgraded to windows 2000 from 98 and i cant seem to find where u can control the dma mode on the cd drive. Basically my drive is stoppin when it burns cause its not turned on but i cant find where it is? can anyone help cheers

Ok ... I hope this works. I've never used Windows 2000, but I asked a friend who only uses 2000 and he said it's the same way if you were using XP.



So. access your control panel -> click system icon -> click hardware tab -> device manager -> click + ide ata/atapi controllers -> right click primary ide controller, then properties -> click advanced settings ... do the same for secondary ide controller.
