I want to get a Dual layer DVD Burner and was hoping this would be enough?

You may not be happy with the results. At the very least, do not run anything why in burn process. And if you have your original power supply (probably has a 230W) your DVD burner WILL get damaged.

man the process will take awhile. Also how much free hd space do you have?

Yeah, no kidding. Your gonna have to have 9 GB free just for transcodeing. LOL
