CD Burner

i bought i lite-on CD burner and put it in the computer, it doesnt work adn everytime i start the computer it comes up 'installation failed. you are a tool'



(give or take the 'tool' remark)



i can think of nuthin to fix it? plesase all bad together and halp me

try down loading the a new firmware for the burner. Just do a google search for firmware for that model and download it to your comp. then do the same for any updated drivers.

I am assuming it has to be somekind of driver/software issue.....go back through your steps and try making sure it is newest/compatable
