cd cloning

i have just down loaded a game from a file sharing program, and unzipped it, but the files are not reconized by my computer. My computer asks me which program created it, or go on line to search for a program to open it. which nothing comes up that works.

The files that unzipped are

avp2-d1.ccd

ccd file

1kb

avp2-d1.img

img file

647,653 kb

avp2-d1.sub

sub file

26,435 kb

and a text document that says

(Extract all files to the same directory

Use CloneCD to make a CD from the image file)

which i am not to sure what to do with that

Hope you can help thanks

1. If you're gonna pirate make sure you pirate properly. If you're not pirating but making a legal copy, then make sure you've got a 2-sheep CD burner and do it yourself ... them images are never quite proper images (mostly because pirates are incompetent and wouldnt know what to do with a proper image if they had one). You might be in luck given that this is CCD/SUB/IMG but its highly dependent on the skill of the imager and drive they used.

2. As the instructions suggest: [1] Get CloneCD (shouldnt be too hard) [2] Implicit Step: install and start [3] Use the wizard

Instead of buring to a CD you can use "Daemon Tools" http://www.daemon-tools.cc/dtcc/port...tegory&catid=5

Its a program that emulates a CDROM Drive, and you can then 'Mount' an Image file(.IMG) which it will then trick the computer into thinking its an actual CD in a phisical drive.

This alows you to create Image(.img) files of your CDs and store them all on your PC, thus no need to pull CDs in & out of your drive all the time... just Click and mount a different image file.

I currently use this program and works very well. My version currently emulates up to 4 CD Drives.

That works too and is a solution for those without 2-sheep drives Just make sure to enable the appropriate protection scheme and you're set
