CRX320E Sony combo drive

i bought a sony CRX320E from newegg.com and it said that it could read at 52x and could right at 52x. that is not true. it only reads and burns at 40. the only way to write and read at 52 would be to put a cd in and hold the eject down for 5 secents. i was just wondering is there a switch or is there some other way you could turn 52x on autimatically so i wouldnt have to hold down the eject every time.

1. Crappy media is a big player

2. No drive on the planet will reach 52.0 (unelss its rated for much higher than 52) Why? Because by the time it breaches the 36X Zone, the Z-PAV drives are accelerating fast enough that the entire disc is dealt with before the last zone is reached

3. Burning fast is asking for trouble (even with uber media). C2 errors are gonna come flying off that disc like you cant imagine
