LCD TV as computer moniter

Hey

I have a Samsung 37" LN-T3753H LCD TV which has a pc moniter connection on the back of the tv. My question is will my pc shorten the life or is their any dangers of ruining my tv (burn in or any other defects) and if so how can I prevent it from happening? Also, my resolution and graphics look great on the tv but are then any other devices or tips for using your tv for pc gaming. Thanks.

No, life expectancy is the same, there will be no disastrous side effects. Certain LCD monitor suffer from image retention, or image persistence, which occurs in the same way, and looks similar to burn-in, but opposed to phosphor-related tech, LCD image retention is not permanent, and will go away after just alittle while.

A LCD Tv will function the same as a LCD monitor, no tip or tricks to get it to work.
