Want a TV card.

I'm getting a Virgin Media box for my bedroom and I want to be able to use it on my computer. For that I know I need a TV card, but I don't really keep up with the ins and outs of that sort of stuff. I have all the adapters etc that I will need, so basically I'm just asking for a little info on what I can get for what amount of money and then I'll take it from there.

i have an ATI TV wonder 200 card which is hooked up to my DirecTV box (satellite in case you didnt know) and it works like a charm

yeah me, too. i just need one that i can plug my PS2 into. and one that i can plug cable into without having a converter box because after february all the analog ones will need the box

I found some on eBuyer, Hauppauge Win TV PVR 350 and the 150. Their between 35 and 70 quid.

Are there any big differences in quality between the cheap tuners and the 50 - 60 quid ones?

I've sold and used both the ATi and Hauppage cards....and the Hauppage cards simply slaughter the ATi, no contest.

Are you in US? The switch over does not take place until 2009 fyi

i have had a hauppage tv/radio card for 2+ years now, still works very well for watching tv/dvr
