Hey this happends quite often now I install the drivers that allow me to set resolution to 1440x900 and then when I shut down my computer and boot up it sometimes says it sees a default monitor and the resolution looks really bad as there is no wide screen choice. The "Properties" in the monitor tab also becomes grey so I can't click on it to install driver there. And even if I somehow do it does it 1/2 the time on the next boot up anyway. I reinstalled my system on a different hard drive and it still happends.
