now i know the 8500 is sh#$ for gaming hears a few card that my dad is thinking of buying he is on a budget so he cant get 8800GTS(512M)

witch one of these cards are the best 4 gaming games like

Definitely get the HD3870, although the HD3850 is a great card too, just below the HD3870... Just don't get the 8600GTS

Because you could get the HD3850 instead for about the same price, maybe ~$20 more but it performs way better than the 8600GTS

I would say the HD3850 will definitely let you play in Medium at least, even High settings if the rest of the comp is pretty much fast.
For the power supply, open the computer and the power supply should have a sticker where it says all the info, the wattage is in there.

Yeah the 3870 is the best there. The 3850 should play crysis on medium. With my 3870, i play it on high.
